Project Cars

Fifteen Years, six Cars...

The first after completing final National Event.

Project 1

The Maxima turned out to be very competitive, a wolf in sheep’s clothing, well not exactly sheepish wearing the decals in this picture.

Project 2

Through '02 Damler Chrysler offered a budget minded Race Car, the Neon American Club Racer (ACR).  After extensive development to make the Maxima go fast around tight corners we turned to our Dodge Dealer, delivering a car from the folks of Performance Vehicle Operations (PVO).  Now they've gone and produced the SRT-4, a car that goes like the Maxima in a straight line and corners almost as good as the ACR.

The view we hoped the new Mopar would deliver to competitors. Click the above image for more details.

Project 3

This Miata, the 3rd project car, is perfectly comfortable, whether it's traveling the back roads of Sonoma with the local convertible car club's winery tour or on course at Infineon Raceway.

Project 4

Nothing much needed here.  SCCA Solo B-Stock/Track Day configuration was simple to accomplish and oh, is the car accomplished.

Project 5

Mazda continues to make it easy and once Mazdaspeed (Mazda's internal tuner arm) has done their work it's like magic.

Project 6

The sixth performance/project car is not only intended for sports amongst its own (RallyCross), it also supports getting boarders to their choice of sports venues, weather independent.  Here she sits after delivering her cargo to Northstar Tahoe in the middle of one of 2011s biggest winter storms.

Interesting that the sixth performance/project car is a Mazdaspeed 6. -
